Pastel

Dad enjoys pastels, they can be filled with cheese or cheese and any meat.  When he asked if I wanted to go out for a pastel, I thought it was going to be a pastry!  Still good just not what I thought it was going to be!

I did have a bit of a problem with the security guard at the mall.  I was taking photos and the security guard came up from behind me and said ´no photos´  I didn´understand why and asked ´por que´and then quickly said, ´no problema´and put my camera away.  I already had the photos of Dad that I wanted anyway!  I am still curious as to why?  It is a public place but whatever!

Brazilian Money

The Brazilian money, the Real is very colorful colorful and has such interesting natural images printed on it.  There are also coins but they are not nearly as cool as the paper bills.

Brazilian Pizzaria

We had pizza with finely chopped boiled egg as a topping.  I was a bit skeptical but found it to be yummy!  We had three different pizzas, all delicious!  This restaurante is one of Dad´s favorites.

Tatu

I brought this toy for Tatu and he is so funny playing with it!  I´m glad he likes it!

Meet Christina

This is Christina.  She helps the Campos family with the cooking, cleaning, laundry and so forth.  She is here Monday - Friday.  They cook everything homemade, no microwave!  Look at all those pots on the range!  Thanks Christina for all your cooking and for cleaning my bedroom today!  I am really feeling pampered!

The Campo´s Garage!

Well, what can I stay, most of us Americans do not have a clean, uncluttered garage like this family!

Shopping at the Farmer`s Market

Buying farinha!

and buying coffee.  You can´t imagine how good it smelled!  Fresh ground, it was still warm in the bag!
